One thing we wish every buyer understood:

All NDT is not created equal.

We perform NDT on piping and vessels for one reason—know your system. The goal isn’t to pick a vendor based on price; it’s to choose the one whose service, technology, and training actually fit your operating reality.

Every NDT method has limitations. Some technologies can test your entire system; others require shutdowns, off‑hour access, or specific operating conditions. Some vendors lack process‑specific training or send techs who aren’t prepared for your site hazards.

Choosing the right vendor starts with knowing what you need. Every system, application, and operating environment is different—so the right service depends entirely on the challenges you’re trying to solve. For example:

  • Are you simply meeting regulatory requirements, or do you need deeper insight to mitigate risk and plan maintenance intelligently?
  • Do you need to confirm areas fit for service, uncover hidden issues, quantify suspect areas—or all of the above?
  • Is avoiding unnecessary replacement or premature maintenance a priority?
  • Is preserving system integrity today essential?
  • Do you need to minimize or eliminate operational shutdowns during testing?
  • Is reducing radiation exposure for your staff important?

If you don’t define what matters most before engaging vendors, you’ll end up buying on price—and stepping over dollars to pick up pennies.

The right NDT vendor should give you clarity, not confusion. Confirm their technology can test what matters. Evaluate whether their reporting gives you the depth you need. Ensure their work is safe, efficient, compliant, and operationally practical.

You can compare NDT vendors today with confidence.
